ABOUT ME

BILL BOYLE

Teacher of Secondary Education (7th-12th grades)

Is your child or you struggling to achieve the SAT score in English you really want? Or perhaps your dream is to get into advanced placement English class.

While there is no substitute for hard work, a good tutor is an invaluable resource. It is like a hiking map. You still have to do the walking, but the map guides you to your destination.

I am an English tutor who is passionate about helping students excel in their high school English classes and beyond. With a master’s degree in secondary education, specializing in English, and years of experience as a high school English teacher, I offer personalized one-on-one tutoring to students who are looking to improve their rhetorical writing skills and critical thinking abilities.

I have taught high school English at Educational Park’s Center for World Studies in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Reuther High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin. My master’s degree is in secondary education from Indiana University with a concentration in teaching English. My undergraduate degree is from Hobart College.

Whether your child or you are looking to excel in high school English, regardless of your current level, or if you are a student who is struggling with English or one who is looking to improve your grades, I can help you achieve your goals.

I specialize in helping students prepare for Advance Placement (AP) English Language/Literature exams, SAT/PSAT/ACT/SSAT/ISEE tests, and achieve high scores in English.

Teaching is my passion and I can guide you. If you are interested in learning more, please contact me for a free consultation and see how I can help you achieve your goals.
